In June 2015, I went for an annual mammogram and it was abnormal. I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer on July 8, 2015. It was my husband’s birthday and it hit him harder than me. I went to church that evening and prayed and was prayed over by laying of hands from faithful believers.
It was caught early and I was given the options to have a mastectomy of the right breast with no treatments or a lumpectomy with radiation. I chose the latter and had 33 radiation treatments and was able to work the entire time. I am 5 years cancer free and I give all praise and glory to God and thank the almighty healer, Jesus my Lord and Savior.
