The power in my story is my faith in prayer. I had the best oncologists and radiation technicians. I also knew God had his hand in their decision for the amount of radiation I needed and the type and amount of chemotherapy I needed. Friends and family had prayer chains going for me, but most of all, I never doubted that I would beat this cancer.
My faith in God was stronger than any cancer. I went through radiation and chemotherapy treatments, but my attitude never changed. I would be cured. I have completed all of my treatments, have had CT scans every 3 months since (no cancer) then every 6 months (no cancer). I have one more scan this month, then it will be once a year for 3 years. So, my advice is do what the doctors prescribe for you, but have faith. By that, I mean believe truly in your heart that God has your back, always.
