In December 2009, I was in a near fatal car accident with a small Suzuki sidekick, black ice and an 18-wheeler.
I’ve had five surgeries since being discharged from the hospital; I believe I’ve had over nine surgeries to piece me back together.
I broke everything but my arms. Fortunately, I had no brain, spinal or internal damage. I’m beyond lucky!
Now, I deal with a bad right hip (waiting for hip replacement surgery, and an amputated left foot.) I have bad nerve damage to my face, stomach and knees. Plus major PTSD from dealing with all the recovery.
Since then, I’ve created a huge Jeep Girl Page called Canadian Jeep girls and have gained so much inspiration from the stories I’ve been told.
Life is too shot to worry about what others think, just do you!
