My name is Samantha and I’m currently 20 years old. I first started having joint problems in 2003. It started with my knees (both of them). Doctors weren’t to sure what was happening. I started physical therapy. My knee problems continued. The problems soon went to my feet and ankles. I was placed in leg braces and had supports in my shoes.
To make a long story short I have now had a knee cap realignment and an allograft tendon in both knees. I have also had both of my feet reconstructed. Soon I hope to be running again but with EDS I never know.
