Hello Ladies,
I’m a 31 yr old woman who found out April of last year that I have Endometriosis. My OBGyn is very nice and understanding so she tried to explain it to me, but I still didn’t really understand what it was until I found some information and graphs on what it looked like and how it could affect my life. I had the Laproscopy surgery in May of last year. I was then put on the Lupron Depot shots for 6mths which really helped, however I wouldn’t recommend it for everybody. I hated the shots the whole time I was on them. My doctor told me that some patients have side effects to it. I just had my check-up and everything looks good so far, however I will have to find a Birth Control that will hopefully keep the Endo at bay for awhile. I wish all the woman who are dealing with disease all the prayers and best of luck. Only do what you are comfortable with doing, it’s your body and future after all.

Renee,
Thanks so much for sharing your story. I’m so happy that lupron worked for you. I was also on the Lupron shots. My OBYN gave me 2 sets of the shot, so I was on it for a full year. I had some complications, but like you said it’s definitely not right for everyone. I love knowing that us girls can stick together and fight Endometriosis as a team instead of all alone.
