Hi, my name is Crystal Smith. My sister, Lisa Boyd, suddenly found out about a month ago that she has stage 4 rectal cancer. She is starting her third week of chemo pills, two times a day, seven days a week, and radiation treatments, five days a week. She has a loving husband who is standing by her side, and so is her family. She just turned 40 years old on September 10th!
After finishing her five to six weeks of radiation and chemo pills, she will have to wait a month to see if it helps any before her surgery. I am also trying to see if someone would be so kind as to help me with setting up a fundraiser for her. She and her husband are already receiving numerous medical bills, and I want to be able to do whatever I can to help! Please send all your prayers, ’cause she is going to need all she can get. I want her to be able to come out a survivor, and between the treatments taking a toll on her, being worried about all the medical expenses that are already coming in, and like I said at the beginning, just starting her third week of chemo and radiation treatments, we need all the support and prayers we can get! Thanks for letting me share her story! God bless.
