My story started when I had a brain aneurysm almost 25 years ago. My youngest child was just a year old and after my second brain surgery, I realized I needed to start fighting long and hard. I did not know my fight had just started. After many years of going to doctors and fighting like a girl I have recovered after all the doubts in the doctors’ heads.
Then I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis…Osteoporosis and Fibromyalgia. Time for the boxing gloves!! Several moons later, I acquired an under-active thyroid, mixed hyperlipidemia, emphysema and COPD. The COPD has been the hardest to battle.
Now being 59 years old and mixing in the Corona Virus, I had to get a pair of bigger boxing gloves. I do believe this is the battle, I will be dreading the most! Note to Self: Keep Fighting Like A Girl…You got this!
