When I was 2 and half years old, doctors discovered I had Wilms tumor cancer.
I was sent to Cape Town Red cross hospital. There, I was diagnosed with stage four cancer and had my kidney removed. I also went threw a year of chemotherapy.
I lost all of my hair and had radiation therapy for eight weeks. According to the doctors, I only had a 45% chance of survival.
My last chemotherapy treatment sent me into heart failure.
I can’t remember everything after that last chemo, doctors put me on life-support machines.
Doctors said they were giving me five days, and if I hadn’t recovered then they would let me go, I had suffered enough.
I remained on the machines for five days–it worked, I’m still here.
I’ve had additional problems in my personal life. I’ve had operations for blood clots,my heart is very weak. I take a lot of medications.
I take Warlrin to thin and regulate my blood and I go to a government hospital because I don’t have Medicaid.
I have bad days, but a lot of good days too.
As a child i participated in the reach for a dream program, I received a bicycle and a helicopter ride for myself and three others.
I am now, happy and blessed.
I came back thanks to all the prayers I’ve received. I’m 24 years old, and I go every month to have my blood checked and get my repeat medicine. The man above has held his hand right over me and healed me with all mighty power and strength 🙏🏻god is a wonderful man I trust in him 🌸🙏🏻
