Having uterine cancer surprised and scared me at the same time. I had a complete hysterectomy that removed all cancer cells. Additionally, I had 6 sessions of chemo and 25 sessions of radiation. I had the support of my family, friends, doctors and nurses that helped me in my cancer journey.
I realized that life can change in a second. Choosing to beat cancer and not let it beat me was my battle cry.
