Teresa’s Story (Breast Cancer)

Teresa's Story IDCI drove myself to the ER on Feb. 6, 2014 with a mass in my left breast. With no insurance, I wasn’t sure what to do, but I did know somebody was going to help me. I wasn’t going to die diagnosed with IDC IV!! After 12 days in the hospital, a left mastectomy, and 10 nodes removed, I got to go home and get ready to fight. I did 16 rounds of chemo, 7 weeks of radiation. I finished my treatment Oct. 9th, then a PET and CT scan to make sure there was no metabolic activity. There was none left. I fought like a girl and won. I’m in remission.

I fought like a girl and will continue to for myself, my daughter, sister and every other woman who needs me too!! Never give up the fight, you must believe you can do anything. God Bless.
