Sherry’s Story (Liver Cancer, Breast Cancer)

Breast Cancer and Liver Cancer StoryI am a mother and grandmother fighting for my life.  In January of this year, I was told I have liver disease. In February, I was told I have stage four cancer and my world came crashing down. Thank God I have my Faith.  I did a lot of searching but there is nothing out there for a single mom and grandmother that can help.

Then in July, at the transplant center, I was told I have breast cancer. I am fighting as hard as I can. Some days I feel really good. Some days I am so sick I can’t move.  The pain throughout your whole body is so bad you want to scream.  I know alot of women go through this but it seems like I am so alone. When you’re a child people help and are there for you but when you are an adult it seems like it’s harder. But GOD will take care of me no matter what and there is a lesson in this and I know a testimony some where.

I am so sorry to hear you are having a difficult time. I was diagnosed with stage IV sarcoma cancer a few years back. After chemo, radiation, and surgery, I am now cancer-free,
I have learned never to say never. I wasn’t supposed to be here , a 2 year survivor.
God has showed me so many things through this journey, and my faith in him is deeper than ever.
Trust in His goodness and mercy. He will keep you in His hands as you fight this battle.
You are in my prayers. Fight the good fight of faith! You are so right, there is a testimony in all this down the road.
    Gentle Huggs!

Revelation 12:11 and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony! Yes there is power in your testimony! Jeremiah 29:11 the desires of God His thoughts for us is of peace ( which means all us well) and not evil or harm , to give us hope and a future! You are in my prayers! I just finished last round if chemo jan 30th… Another spot crept up , now surgery tomorrow to have it removed. Had a bilateral mastectomy in November .. Gods got your back! He is your rear guard! Goodness and mercy will follow you all the days if your life! I speak it out in Jesus name!

You will make it through this just take one day at a time. I just finished treatments for breast cancer myself and I’m also a single mom and grandmother and didn’t find any help either. The pain and loneliness are difficult but you aren’t alone and they both go away, eventually. Praying you’re doing well!

Have you ever heard this quote from Mother Teresa? (i may not have it word-for-word, but got the meaning across). “I know God will never give me more than I can handle – I just wish he didn’t trust me so much.”

    Sherry,
I’m so sorry to hear what your going threw. I have no idea what your going threw, or your family. I have been dealing with Skin Cancer for several years & agree that sometimes you feel alone. That no one understands what your going threw, but as you can see here on this site; your not alone. Try to keep your faith & tell God what you need. A also agree that you will be able to give your Testimony one day!
Try to remember this quote: WHEN LIFE IS TOO HARD TO STAND; KNEEL!

Praying that you have a speedy recovery. God bless you & your family
