Rasheta’s Story (Brain Cancer)

Rashetas Story Brain CancerRasheta is a beautiful, outgoing, and vibrant 8 year old. She hasn’t gotten to experience your average summer vacation, due to having brain surgery on June 9th to remove a mass on her right frontal lobe. After that she was diagnosed by doctors at UK hospital, Markey Cancer Center, and John Hopkins on June 18th with Grade 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma (Brain Cancer). She undergoes both radiation 5 days a week and chemo 7 days a week.

Rasheta’s cancer has caused countless seizures and even memory loss. Rasheta has just COMPLETED her first round of chemo & radiation, and she will be starting Intravenous (IV) chemotherapy in a few weeks and have a port put in. Even through all her struggles she KEEPS A SMILE. She continues to BELIEVE in GOD, & FIGHT like a GIRL!

P.S. Since Rasheta is 8 this is being submitted by myself (her older sister Sedia James) for her. Thanks for your time and support 🙂

Well good morning little princess Rasheta , What a nice picture of a pretty girl ! Your sister loves you so much it shows the care she has for you , Rasheta I am praying for you through out your journey to keep hugging , keep smiling , keep dancing , keep praying and be patient and when you are nervous , scared or just plain fed up , ask someone politely to read CALMLY to you in a very soft spoken way so that you become calm and happy!
