Margaret’s Story (Breast Cancer)

Margaret's Story (Breast Cancer) LRMy mother, Margaret, went through a complete mastectomy today. She is 78 years old and was diagnosed with two different types of breast cancer on March 8, 2013. Her lymph nodes were tested today during her surgery, and the doctor told me that the cancer had not spread into her lymph nodes.

We do not know what our next step is, but my mother is a true fighter. She is my inspiration and my hero. She is fighting like a girl and being the strongest person I know right now. I am so very proud of her and love her with all my heart!

Keep fighting mama!
