Judy’s Story (Breast Cancer)

Judy's Story (Breast Cancer)I was diagnosed on 8/9/10 with Stage 3B breast cancer, left side, with nodes involved all throughout the left side of my torso. A year ago, January 5, I finished chemo. On February 9, it will be a year since my double mastectomy. In June, it will be a year since I finished radiation. I don’t know that my cancer is gone, but I believe it is.Judy's Story (Breast Cancer)

I’m a single mom of a 13-year-old, and I fully intend to dance at his wedding. Without the Little League community, I wouldn’t have made it through the past year-and-a-half. Without my dear friends from my adolescence, I wouldn’t have my home or my pets. God does provide.

Am I finished with this fight? Don’t know, but I know I’m not going down without a battle! I also know that *I* am not my cancer. I am so much more!
