I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer on February 3, 2017. I also had cancer in a lymph node. Through my chemo, I was receiving strong medication because my cancer was aggressive. I will admit that I was scared because I have never been sick. I started praying, asking God to cover me and give me strength. I immediately started thinking about my two beautiful daughters whom I love so much. I knew that I had to fight for my kids. I kept my faith and always kept a positive attitude throughout my journey.
God has been awesome to me; I didn’t experience all of those side effects that the doctor said I was supposed to. My tumor was 12 cm at the beginning, and now it’s gone. I had my surgery on September 7, 2017. After my surgery, I had a bilateral lumpectomy, and they found no cancer in my lymph nodes or body. God is awesome! I am cancer free! Through the pain, and despite how scared I was, I remained humble and prayed. God has always been by my side. He will never leave you. CANCER FREE!
