I went to the hospital at the end of December for chest pain and pain on the left of my lower neck. I thought it was related to my Atrial fibrillation (Afib), but while completing an MRI they found renal cell carcinoma on my left kidney. By the end of January, my surgery was scheduled.
The doctor removed 1/3 of my left kidney and today marks one month post surgery. I’m happy to say my pathology report shows we got it all! I still have follow ups, but even in these times, please listen to your body and get checked out. I’m extremely grateful to my doctors. I will keep fighting for me and for others who are still fighting. Much love and never give up!
