I was 21 years old when I was diagnosed.
I had felt these lumps when I was 20 yrs. of age. I traveled to see several doctors who blamed it on caffeine and sugar which I was no longer taking per my primary care provider’s orders.
I began getting super sick and weak. So, I went back to my PCP who found another doctor who quickly ran a test and diagnosed it. I received a partial double mastectomy a short time later. Although I am in remission for cancer in my breast, I now have it in my bones. My motto is as Tim McGraw sings, “Someday I hope you get the chance to live like you were dying, and tomorrow is a gift.”
Live life, make memories, make it sweet.
