Debbie’s Story (Breast Cancer)

Debbie's Story Breast CancerMy story started in June 2015 with a lump in my breast. I went to the doctor and had an ultrasound, which wasn’t looking good, so I was sent for a mammogram.

A week later, I was having surgery to remove a 3 cm mass and some lymph nodes. I have done chemo treatments. My last one will be October 20, 2015. Then 30 rounds of radiation will begin. Half the battle down!

Thanks to my support system of family and friends, I have made it through. My journey isn’t over quite yet, and I will be on a drug for the next five years. But thank you Jesus, I can do this!!
