Alice’s Story (Breast Cancer)

alices-story-breast-cancerMy daughter was diagnosed with pseudo tumor cerebri in August 2015. She has been in and out of the hospital. She had 12 spinal taps and 3 surgeries. She suffered way too much.

When she had the first surgery in March, we thought everything would be alright, and the same day she was discharged, my husband had a heart attack. So here I go to another hospital with my husband. One day, I felt a very bad pain in my left breast, and there was a lump the size of a small plum. Went for a biopsy and bingo!!! Breast cancer stage 2A.

This happened in May. I had 2 surgeries and am now going through radiation. I pray hard, I love hard and always take care of the ones around me. I guess God decided to wake me up.

I am still blessed. I will fight, even though sometimes I just want to give up!!! But I won’t!! I can’t. It’s not fair to my family, friends and myself.
