I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer a month ago. I noticed that my breast was hard. So, I went in for a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy and that’s when I received my diagnosis. My double mastectomy is scheduled to be done soon.
Thankfully, the genetic testing came back negative. This is truly a journey, and even though I have a lot of support from family and friends, I have found the medical process to be very difficult.
