On Friday, November 13th, I was told that I had breast cancer. I thought I’d fall apart, but I took charge and opted for a double mastectomy with reconstruction. I was mad that my ‘girls’ had let me down and knew that they had to go! I had surgery on December 18th, and now I am cancer free!
