Tabitha’s Fight Like A Girl Story (Lupus)

Tabitha's Story (SLE)LRAfter fighting for years with mysterious symptoms; everything from skin problems to internal problems, the doctors had no answers for me.

Once I gave birth to my second son, my body finally collapsed. Within weeks of having him, my doctors were testing me for everything in the books. Finally at the end, someone decided to test for lupus.

On June 14, 2010, one day before my third anniversary, I was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus, or SLE. Even with treatment, we have learned that it’s attacking my heart and lungs.

I promised my family to Fight Like A Girl and beat it before it gets me down.
