Sli’s Story (Ovarian Cancer)

Sli's Story Ovarian CancerIn June of 2014, I truly thought I had a bladder infection. After about a week, I decided to go the the ER. When the doctor sat down and held my hand, I knew the news wouldn’t be good.

On July 4th, I had about 7 lbs of cancer removed from my body. I was getting married on July 11th, but instead was just out of the hospital recovering from surgery. After several months of chemotherapy and many prayers, knowing that God had healed me inside and out, I am cancer free and was married last December. I will be celebrating my one year wedding anniversary this weekend. I am blessed and will never take life for granted.
