I am a 35 year old single mother of two. I am diabetic and also suffers from high blood pressure. I have faced two mini strokes since 2011.
I recently worked two jobs to support my children but I resigned my part time job due to my illness. I have had a rough couple of years and recently I lost my father who passed on 07/12/2013 from a major stroke and heart attack.
My father too is a diabetic and we found out after he passed that he also had a massive tumor in his lungs. I do not want to go down the same path. I want to be there for my children, so I have changed my eating habits and have been going to the gym. This is not an easy road.
