Lorena’s Story (Epilepsy)

Purple RibbonHi, my name is Lorena. I am a single mother of 4 wonderful children. Twenty days after I had my 4th baby, I had a stroke and lost complete movement of my right side. Lost my speech and some of my memory. I recovered most of it all back, but some of my memories are not there.

Five months after that, I had my first grand mal seizure, another the following month, and then they were happening more often. I got diagnosed about year ago as “epileptic,” and I have ALL different types/kinds of seizures. My “husband” abandoned us when I got pregnant with the baby, and right now I have a boyfriend that is a wonderful person so far. I am happy that I found this group and that I am able to share my story, thank you!
