May 30, 2019, I had a hysterectomy due to very bad fibroids. This is when I found out that I had stage 1 uterine cancer.
Fast forward to July 2023. I suffered from a saddle pulmonary embolism, and I then found out that I had a cancerous ovarian mass. In November 2023, the mass and ovaries were removed. The test results revealed that the cancer in the ovaries metastasized from the uterus.
I’m currently going through chemotherapy and immunotherapy. I have good days and not so good days, but I won’t complain. I am thankful for my family and friends who stood beside me through this time in my life. I am grateful for my circle of love!
