Jayne’s Fight Like a Girl Story (Lupus)

Jayne's Story (Lupus)I am 41 year’s old, and I am a lupus warrior. The reason I say warrior is because I am in the fight for my life. I was diagnosed three days before Mother’s Day, I know I could have given me a better gift, or no gift at all, but no, I was given the disease of 1000 faces.

I was tested back in 2003 for lupus but my doctor back then told me all was okay. Little did I realize that he had overlooked and read my result’s wrong. I wasn’t okay, I was positive with the ANA for lupus. To make a long story short here I am almost 10 year’s later, battling a losing battle. By the time my new doctor had done the tests again it was too late. The lupus was moving at warp speed. It was in my blood, bones, joint’s, liver, bowel, kidney’s, heart, chest, and now my eyes. They have me on 29 medications and a breathing mask. But it is moving faster then their medications.

I AM NOT GIVING UP THIS BATTLE. I will give the best fight of my life. I have called this a war because five days ago I was called into my doctor’s office, and basically was told that “The Lupus” figured, “Hmm, this lady sure isn’t going to quit,” so “The Lupus”  bought in some back up with what is called Sjogren’s Syndrome. If between all of that they think that will stop me, I have another thing coming for them. I AM NOT A QUITTER, I WILL WIN!

Thank you for reading my story and may God bless each and everyone of you with health, love, and happiness. Big hugs to all!
