Cindy’s Story (Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer)

Cindy's Story (Breast Cancer and Lung Cancer) Since 1999 I have been fighting cancer. The first round was breast cancer at the age of 42. It was invasive ductal, stage II A. My treatment was a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. I fought like a girl without any issues until 2010.

I had a slight cough that would not go away, which resulted in a non-smoking form of lung cancer called adenocarcinoma that was not related to the breast cancer. Once again family, friends, and my church prayed for me through surgery, chemo, and radiation. Now in 2013, we are faced with metastatic bone cancer from the lung cancer. My plans are to once again fight like a girl and kick this to the curb!
