On Nov 27, 2007, my day started as any other. I went to my friend who was sick and needed medicine. She could not go out because she had a trac. I decided to go for her.
We lived in New York. As I was walking across the street, I got struck by a car. Today, I suffer from CRP/RND. I was happy when I finally got a diagnosis because I hurt every day with no medical relief and doctors telling me that I should not be hurting like I say I do.
I fight against my body. I ballroom dance, and I also swim every day. I have a very understanding husband and five wonderful dogs. I finally have a doctor who seems to be doing all the right things. He did ultrasounds, MRIs, and also finally tried a sympathetic nerve block. I now take extended release Gabapentin and Percocet.
