Norma’s Story (Breast Cancer)

Norma's Story (Breast Cancer) LRThe pain in my lower back started in 2009, the doctor said it was muscular – but it was so extreme.

In 2010 I got married, lost my parents, got my diagnosis, got fired from my job, ended up in the hospital for three months, and lost my new husband to a heart attack.

But I’m still here three years later, I’m strong, and I have my faith. I’ll be fine. In fact, I’ll be great.

I’m thriving in spite of all the junk and bad news I’ve been through. I feel I have a purpose, that all this happened so that I could inspire other cancer patients and other people in general who are going through something that they think is so tough that they’ll never get through it.

If I can get through everything I’ve been through and still have a positive attitude and a smile for all those I meet, then just think of what you can do!!

Focus on what you can do instead of what you can’t….
