As a ten year survivor of breast cancer, I feel truly blessed. Even through my scars physically and emotionally, I’m a better person today. Going through the radiation was the loneliest feeling. My bones ached constantly while taking Tamoxifen for five years. With treatment, I went into an instant menopause at the age of 51.
Now, I have the courage and strength to face what life sends my way. Don’t ever give up and be thankful for each new day.
