I found a lump just days before my 27th birthday.
I went to the doctors and she told me she was 98% sure it was not cancer. I was so young.
With a needle biopsy and then a lumpectomy I was told that I had stage 3 breast cancer, at 27 years old, with two little kids, and no family history.
I had a double mastectomy, six months of chemo, and 35 rounds of radiation treatments.
A year later I had reconstruction with silicon implants and now in the final stages.
I am going to be 30 in September. I cant believe I have made it this far. Wow!
