Ebony’s Story (Breast Cancer)

Ebony's Story Breast CancerI dated BRCA1 breast cancer long enough for it to treat me horribly and to be scarred by the whole experience. But I broke up with cancer slowly. I started hanging out with chemo–the red devil–and eventually radiation. Luckily, I came out on top, minus a few parts.

I understood my situation called for a fire sale. Everything had to go, and it did. Then, I got mixed up with CHF. Worst relationship ever. But luckily, I have an LVAD to help me.

Cancer seems like a distant nightmare since my CHF. BUT because of (Brad the) LVAD, I have been able to deal with the even worse relationship with CHF. My heart just isn’t in this relationship. But hopefully in January–5 years after breaking up with cancer–I will also dump Brad and CHF. Then I can move on with my incredibly interesting life. We shall see….
