Hey everyone, I was diagnosed with endometriosis this past February. I ended up having to have a hysterectomy, but I have had problems in the past and have been to the ER, and yet no one was able to tell me what was wrong with me. For years I have been told that it as all in my head, and I had my sons, who are now 10 and 5 years, after I had a miscarriage. I couldn’t get an explanation as to why, then I had my daughter, who is now almost 3. I had many complications with her before and during delivery.
Well, after years of going to the doctor’s, I finally got an answer and was told I had endometriosis and that there really isn’t a cure for this. I wish I would have known years before, but many doctors don’t really know about it themselves. It’s sad really. I just want all women to know they are not alone, and we will fight for a cure and hopefully get one. We are the voices that need to be heard.
