Linda’s Story (Crohn’s Disease)

Linda's Story (Chron's) My name is Linda. I have fought Crohn’s disease for 30 years. I have had several surgeries.

This disease affects my whole GI tract. I have also lost a kidney and my gall bladder.

When it comes out of remission I am in so much pain, and I spend much time in the hospital.

But I have always fought like a girl.

I raised two children by myself. I live with a disease that there is no cure for. But, I will live my life, and enjoy it to the fullest.

    Linda-
Thanks for sharing your story. I too suffer from Crohn’s disease. I have lost all of my intestinal track except for 3 feet and it has spread into even that last bit now. I have had many surgeries including having to have an illeostomy. I understand the pain associated with this horrible disease and it gives me inspiration to see that there is someone else out there that fights it with the same passion as myself! Keep up the good fight and if you ever need support, just let me know cause ….I FIGHT LIKE A GIRL TOO!
