My name is Candace. I am a 42-year-old mom of one boy. He is 13. We are living in Georgia at this time. I am suffering from severe disc disease and fibromyalgia. I have been told that I need to see a rheumatoid doctor. I live in constant pain. My neck and lower back are both effected by protruding discs. I feel like my life has been robbed and I worry what life will be like for me in 20 years. I am a CNA. I take care of people who can't take care of themselves. I constantly wonder if I will be one of the people who cannot do anything for themself in a few years. I am scared! All I can do is keep going and keep trying to make it. Sometimes, when I have flare-ups, I can hardly even walk. Other than that, I just ache and my neck and shoulder hurt really bad. It's miserable.
